THE COUNCIL

The European Consumer Electronics Retail Council (EuCER) is a non-profit association representing European Retail Groups and Chains which are active in the sale of Technical Consumer Goods, such as Major Domestic Appliances, Computers, Smartphones, Healthcare Products, and Audio and Video Devices.

MAIN ACTIVITIES

Euro-commerce, which represents all European retail and wholesale traders, online and offline, has accepted the membership of the EuCER Council. A shared debate has been promoted focusing on main topics concerning the sector.

Talks are in progress with retail groups from Germany, Switzerland, Portugal and France in order to extend the representation of the EuCER Council all across Europe.

MISSION

The EuCER council works to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the European economy.

RETAILERS

The primary targets of the association consist in the definition and promotion of a clear and non-discriminatory, legal and regulatory framework for the retail sector of consumer electronics and household appliances in Europe.

COOPERATION

Fundamental is a profitable cooperation with national and international associations, industries and non-governmental organizations.

POLICY

The Council aims to contribute to the development, approval and implementation of local, regional, national and international legislation, regulation, policy, rule or directive and will strive to represent its Members’ interests vis-à-vis to European Legal & Regulatory Institutions.
