Held on the 27th of April the event Consumer Electronics Retail – Facilitating the green transition, at Scotland House in Brussels.

The workshop, arranged by EuroCommerce and the EuCER Council, dealt with digitalisation and sustainability in the Consumer Electronic Retail sector.

The discussion focused on the crucial role of the sector in the digital and sustainable transition across the EU, covering the importance of consumer empowerment and digital education, but also the sector’s response to market changes and the essentiality of a people-centred approach.

The panel debate, which involved estimated guests from the European Commission, EuroCommerce, EuCER Council, Ceconomy and WEEE Forum, addressed the issue of creating an enabling environment for the sustainability transition in the Consumer Electronic Retail sector.
